On October 19 and 20, the CFMG Capital team consisting of General Manager, Andrew Thomson and National Land Sales Manager, Rebecca McColl descended on the Brisbane Convention Centre to talk all things property with thousands of interested customers coming through the door over two days. Rebecca in her role as National Land Sales Manager was speaking with clients about land for sale at CFMG Capital’s residential developments throughout Brisbane and the Gold Coast and giving details on home & land packages available through our builder partners. Interest in these projects was huge for potential buyers, which was unsurprising given their quality locations in key growth corridors and comparatively affordable pricing. Rebecca took 16 direct EOI’s on land purchases over just two days in what was a fantastic event for land sales.
Meanwhile, Andrew was on hand to speak to potential customers and explain the flagship CFMG Land & Opportunity Fund. On both Saturday and Sunday, he also gave keynote addresses to interested onlookers and shared his views on the market, the lending constraints and why record low rates haven’t yet stimulated the market as expected. In addition, he reiterated the view from CFMG Capital that the property market is not in need of stimulation, with each of our projects performing well and generally above conservative expectations. The presentation also detailed alternative property investment strategies, including (but not limited to) the CFMG Land & Opportunity Fund, and how investors who are seeking exposure to residential property as an asset class can still do so without having to take on additional leverage, or take single asset risk. Andrew was presented an Award for his insightful presentations that were well received by the large audience.
The huge turnout, many interesting exhibitors and generally thriving event underlined the base level strength of interest in residential property that shows no sign of letup.
